This year we really thought about what gifts would bring the most joy to dogs and dog owners and make our lives easier. We came up with the following:
A bored dog is a destructive dog. From tearing up your house to excessive barking and chewing, being bored can mean undesirable behaviors all around. We love the types of toys that make dogs think and work. We’d not seen this one before, and it really looks fun!
Balls are a favorite around here, but unfortunately they don’t last long. This ball from Kong has outlasted every ball we’ve ever brought into the house.
Love plush toys but hate constantly picking up balls of fuzz? These are the answer. Mine love to destroy toys but these guys have been around here for months and are still intact. No fuzz and lots of play! Yes!
I have not tried this but I absolutely want one. I have a hand held unit for myself, but if my dog and I were ever separated, this would absolutely be worth every penny to me.
Having had several gulpers, life is full of the terrifying prospect of bloat. This one small item has gone a long way to giving me more peace of mind and less-pukey feeding times for the dogs. If you have a gulper, you need this.
I have not tried this product, but it looks like one of the better ones on the market. Look for us to possibly review it this year.
I have long had a “dog bag” and it has gone through several incarnations over the years. From one of our favorite manufacturers of outdoor dog gear, this one looks completely awesome and I think I need it.
