This week was a very busy one. As much as I have talked of organization and order lately, I sure have struggled a lot with both. Let’s face it–life is hectic. It’s crazy. My mornings begin very early (they need to start earlier) with my alarm going off at about 6 am. I’m feeling like I need to start the day at 4. Of the four recipes I picked for this week I have managed to make two. The second was fabulous and I cannot wait to share it with our readers. I mean, it was FAB.
I also started training with a personal trainer this week. This is something I have always wanted to do. I bit the bullet and did it, signing up for a three month session to start. I am very excited and more sore than I think I ever have been in my life, other than after my c-sections. I am wondering if being able to feel all my muscle pain after coming off Cymbalta has amplified the muscle soreness that accompanied the workout. All I know is I can barely walk, sit down or get up. Ouch. Lots of curse words coming out of me these past few days.
It’s rained just about every day so I’ve been able to do little work with the dogs, so they’ve been pretty bored and destructive these past few days. As I look out the window now it’s gray and gross out. Days like these I wish I had several treadmills so I could put the dogs on them to burn off some energy as they are not the type to really want to be out in the gross weather. I’m going to have to remedy that, or at least get them used to it, since some of the future backpacking trips are going to be affected by rain at some point, I’m sure. Speaking of backpacking trips, I am still working on prepping for our upcoming trip to the mountains. It’s creeping up on us, and I couldn’t be more excited.
