It was very relaxing. It was nice to see some scenery that we don’t get to see here locally.

    What a beautiful place!

It really is. We saw quite a bit of fire damage, but it was still a pretty trail.

You look A-mazing! I love Gaithinburg. So much to see in that town.

Aw, thank you! There really is. My parents took us there as kids. It’s nice to take my kids now.

I still have photos to put up, lol. It was so much fun. Glad you enjoyed it!

That looks gorgeous! Such a thick canopy. But it must still be cold there, right? You’re both bundled up pretty tight!

That day was 37. It was chilly for us Floridians. 🙂

Beautiful hike! I’ve often wanted to visit that area with Haley, but a few people mentioned that most of the hiking trails weren’t dog friendly. I wasn’t sure if they were right though. Did you find plenty of trails?

    1. Shannon Adams February 19, 2017 at 6:14 pm

That would be correct. Only 2 trails in the entirety of GSMNP are dog friendly. The one we were on was one of them. Downtown Gatlinburg is pretty dog friendly, though, and the cabin we stayed in was also dog friendly. 🙂 There are quite a lot of trails in the area, though.

Thanks, Shannon! I’m glad to hear Gatlinburg is pretty dog friendly though and maybe we’ll venture down there from Ohio this year.
